An Intuitive Journey

Sitting at my canvas while smudging the deep fuchsia and orange into one composition, all the while connecting and pondering on my current inner life, it struck me how grateful I was to be able to express the pain, joy and hope I feel inside - when words fail me.

What about others? Not everyone knows they are able to use colour, but have other tools or approaches to understand themselves. The approaches are as broad as different as each of us individual souls are. We all find ourselves in situations or states in which we feel stuck, confused, overwhelmed, lost and in fear. The smallest step forward feels like a jump off the cliff, unless, we listen to our intuition.

Intuition, that inner steadfast knowing of knowing. Knowing right from wrong, yes from no, good from bad. My heart aches for those who have difficulties accessing their Intuition.

Signing up for IPA, Intuitive Psychology Association was one of the strongest and certain YESs I have experienced. Almost as close as to knowing when my Baby would come. Birth.

Signing up for IPA was similar to a re-birth to my own self. And hopefully to those who get to experience clarity, find hope and see the action they need to take when they are allowed, and allow themselves, to reflect on their situation in safety. Understanding what’s keeping them stuck or in fear.

Being able to provide this safe space in which they can experience a sense of being seen, heard and understood, simply respected, is a beautiful fundamental part in reconnecting with Intuition.

At first fear snug in, fearing that I wouldn’t be able to help my training partner in these 30min training session. However, I contently knew that whatever had to come up for my training partner, would. All is welcome and welcomed with compassion!

Most fascinating to me are hearing the contradictions within the storytelling of my “client” – and why they happen! First speaks the subconscious mind, then often followed by the conscious mind rationalizing their behaviour or actions. Being the reflecting or replaying audio mirror, I am able to help the person see what they had just said. Once they hear and understand, their face either lights up or becomes still. The whirlwind of thoughts creating confusion and overwhelm calms down. A beautiful moment when we are able to let go and think “straight” again. This incredible shift allows us to look at shadows.

When we take a moment and look at shadows, we can see that they are no longer scary and are more open to see them for what they are. They are part of each of us.

My many dark moments as well as rediscovering the access to intuition, being able to trust it again over the last years, has been a precious gift to me. This gift, this access, I only wish for others.

Since we could uncover so much over these last weeks, how much more greatness and love is there waiting for us and those we will meet! It’s exciting!
